Covid-19

Covid-19 – Week sixty: beginning 26/04/2021

With the bank holiday to look forward to this weekend, as busy as my working week is, I am looking forward to doing nothing. I have literally planned nothing this weekend. But sometimes the best something comes out of doing nothing.

So as the bank holiday weekend arrives and we go to drop off the shopping at my parents, the best something really does come out of doing nothing. I enjoy Saturday sitting in my parents’ backyard in the sunshine, and before I know it the day has gone in the best possible way. One of the things I really appreciate is time with family and friends. And when I say time, I mean time in person being sociable. Have you ever spent the day doing nothing but feeling amazing for it?

This week something happened that made me feel super lucky. A moment totally out of my control, but one that effected the rest of my day. On my dog walk today a bird flies over and poops on Lady and I. A little bit of poo didn’t harm anyone, but it makes me feel super lucky and puts a spring in my step. Feeling lucky I purchase a few scratch cards, and even though my winnings are small, I feel like the luckiest person alive. So as the bank holiday draws to a close and the rain appears to be setting in for my week off. Not even a little lot of rain can stop my luck at the best something coming out of doing nothing.
